Artist Statement

My work is driven by curiosity and by the tension of not knowing where the process will lead. I work across painting, drawing and textile, approached as a continuous investigation across media. While I begin with a plan, it remains open to change throughout the process.

The works often emerge as experiments, in which I initiate a process and observe what unfolds. The outcome frequently diverges from expectations — this divergence is central to my practice.

The repetition of simple units — a painted square, a knitted stitch, a drawn line — forms the basis for transformations that cannot be fully anticipated. It is within this space between intention and discovery that the work takes shape.

My aim for the work is to communicate with the viewer, even if only as a whisper.
